Hot water extraction carpet cleaning
Often known as the most effective method of
cleaning carpets, Hot Water Extraction, (or
steam cleaning) is a very popular choice,
and usually the best way to go for a deep
cleaning. This method uses high pressure and
high temperature water to clean the carpet
fibers themselves, more thoroughly then most
other processes. Not only does it clean deep
soil out, but it also lifts all the surface
dirt, making this the most popular method,
by and large. Along with high pressure and
hot water, there are detergents and cleaners
mixed in with the water to help break up the
dirt and the deep, deep soil, leaving a very
clean, almost sterile carpet surface behind.
Professional Carpet Cleaning Process:
Pre-Inspection
- Our service technician will do a walk through
inspection with you to identify soiling conditions,
carpet construction, and potential permanent
stains.
Pre-Vacuum
- Your carpet will be pre-vacuumed to
remove bonded, dry soil.
Furniture
Moving - Sofas, chairs and tables
will be carefully moved. Larger pieces, beds
and dressers are left in place and will be
protected with disposable blocks and tabs.
Pre-Spray
& Pre-Spot - Traffic areas and
spots are pre-treated.
Pre-Grooming
- The "pre-spray" is
then worked into the fiber using either a
hand rake or a rotary scrubber depending on
what the technician feels is needed.
Rinse
& Extraction - Once the soil
has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted
hot water extraction process will thoroughly
flush the carpet. This step sanitizes and
deodorizes the carpet. Water pressure is regulated
so that carpet is not over wet. The pH is
balanced on every carpet and fabric cleaned.
This is one of the most important steps according
to the manufacturers of carpet. It is accomplished
during extract & rinse process or a post
spray will be applied.
Post
Treatment - If any spots are not
removed during the cleaning process, specialty-spotting
techniques are employed. Note: Potential permanent
stains, as identified by technician may not
be removed.
Post-Grooming
- The carpet pile is set in one direction
to aid in the drying process.
Pre-Inspection
- We walk through your home with you to inspect
our work.
